COD Warzone Shadow Fix

Updated: Jun 11, 2020

Call of Duty Modern Warfare: Warzone is one of the most popular games to get installed on Shadow, but there are a couple of hitches along the way that might trip you up, in this post we will let you know the best way to get the best setup for your shadow and experience in Warzone.

First thing you need to do, although it sounds obvious, is ensure your Shadow has all of the latest windows updates.

Although your shadow box might say it is up to date, its always best to hit the "Check for Updates" button again in the windows update section, if it truely is up to date, then it will let you know, otheriwise it will start downloading the next set of updates.

Repeat this until it is up to date.

Next you will need to make sure you are using the latest drivers, auto installed from Shadow, do not install the latest drivers for your graphics card manually, let Shadow install the best ones.

Lastly, onto the game settings itself, first you will need to ensure that the resolution and render resolutions match your screen resolution.

Next, turn off motion and weapon motion blur.

Lastly, Enable VSync.

For the best experience in game, you will need to let it install the shaders, this should only take a few minutes, if it doesn't and seems to get stuck, go into the graphics settings and hit "restart shader installation" this will clear the cache and start the process again, which should be a lot quicker.

Final point to add, make sure your cursor is locked in Shadow before starting an actual game, otherwise you spin like a crazy lunatic whenever you move you mouse in the slightest.
