Today's TWOS blog post arrived with some great gaming news for Stadia members. Rainbow Six Siege arrives in 2 days, 4 new pro games arrive in 3 days and we have a Stadia mega sale to look forward too.
Stadia Pro Games for July
This is an action RPG with rogue-lite elements following the everyday routines of Will, an adventurous shopkeeper that dreams of becoming a hero. Reviews on this one are very positive across the board and I look forward to jumping in.
This game blends elements of classic action games with the freedom of a sandbox-style creativity. Terraria is a unique gaming experience where both the journey and the destination are completely in your control. This is a very highly rated game but it's not my cup of tea having already tried it elsewhere.
The Darkside Detective
The Darkside Detective is a classic point and click adventure game with a distinct sense of humour. Join Detective McQueen and Officer Dooley as they investigate 6 bizarre cases. From the occult to the supernatural, anything is possible in this micro adventure game series and another game with great reviews, can't wait to check this out.
Street Power Football
This arcade styled, slick action football game features 6 distinct game modes from open-ended Freestyle and Trick Shot modes to head-to-head competition in Panna and up to 3v3 matches in Street Power mode.
Stadia Game Updates
Get Packed Fully Loaded is launching on Stadia today. This new updated version features 2 additional campaign chapters, new levels and new customisation options. If you already claimed the game with your Stadia Pro subscription or purchased, this update comes free for you. If not you can buy the game right now for £19.99.
Grime, the bizarre punishing action RPG, which comes from the Stadia Makers Program now has an official release date. It's set to land on PC and Stadia August 2nd.
Rainbow Six Siege
The big news this week is the arrival of Rainbow Six Siege. The game is set to launch on Stadia tomorrow and you can enjoy cross-play with friends on PC & Amazon Luna. You can also carry your progress across all 3 platforms if you wish.
The new season of Rainbow Six Siege is well underway and there is a new operator, Thunderbird, who can deploy the Kona Station, a point of safety for injured or downed operators to heal or be revived. You can purchase this in the Stadia store tomorrow or play via your Ubisoft+ subscription.
No features added for this though which is a disappointment. We sort of at least expected stream connect but nope, nothing at all.
Stadia Mega Sale
The Stadia mega sale is set to get underway tomorrow so keep your eyes peeled for some bargains. I'll trawl through the store and post up my recommendations very soon so stay tuned for that folks.
