GeForce NOW News Update - Hyper Scape Confirmed, 8 games lost, 15 more added!

Hyper Scape has been confirmed to be coming to GeForce NOW

This futuristic Ubisoft battle royale has just left it's Technical Test with an all-round good performance with glowing reviews. We can't wait to see what becomes of this one as it's cited as free to play and coming to GeForce NOW as well as a whole host of other platforms.

There's no official release date for the game yet, but I'm sure the Ubisoft Forward event on July 12th will sort that out.

Now for some bad news

With the addition of opt-in we all hoped we would no longer see games leaving GeForce NOW, but it's happened again, BANDAI NAMCO games will be leaving the platform at the end of July, these are:

  • DARK SOULS: REMASTERED

  • DARK SOULS II

  • DARK SOULS II: SCHOLAR OF THE FIRST SIN

  • DARK SOULS III

  • TEKKEN 7

  • SOULCALIBUR VI

  • ACE COMBAT 7: SKIES UNKNOWN

As an extra piece of bad news, Saints Row the Third: Remastered was removed from the platform on July 3rd 2020.

Back to the Good News

More games were added this week including a bunch of returners (balance if anything)

New to GeForce NOW:

  • A Story About My Uncle

  • Arise: A Simple Story (Epic Games Store)

  • Avorion

  • Black Desert Online (Russia/Turkey/MENA)

  • Endless World

  • Hue

  • My Time at Portia (Epic)

  • Neo Cab

  • Scrap Mechanic

  • Ultimate Chicken Horse

Returning to GeForce NOW:

  • Besiege

  • Construction Simulator 2 US - Pocket Edition

  • Cultist Simulator

  • Empyrion - Galactic Survival

  • Last Tide

Launcher Update

The GeForce NOW game launcher got a nice update today to version 2.0.21, finally adding the freestyle overlay which can now be accessed via the in-game overlay with Cmd+G on Mac or CTRL+G on PC.

Game launch time has supposedly been improved by another 3 seconds (don't worry we will be checking).

There are some UI updates also and apparently they have improved resuming playing across devices, we will be sure to check that out too as well as seeing if it can ever remember a login (here's looking at you Uplay launcher games).
