GeForce NOW News: Kena: Bridge of Spirits Coming Soon + 13 More Games.

GFN Thursday rolls around once again and this week we have the much anticipated Kena: Bridge of Spirits announced as coming to GeForce NOW at launch. 13 games are being onboarded in total this week but we are losing one.

Kena: Bridge of Spirits - Coming August 24

This gorgeous adventure takes players on a journey of self-discovery as Kena restores balance to an ancient village in a once-thriving environment. Players take on the role of Kena, a young Spirit Guide on a quest to uncover the mysterious story surrounding the demise of the village. Using her staff and the help of her collection of tiny companions known as the Rot, the player will disarm adversaries, unlock new skills, uncover secrets, and restore the beauty of the land.

One of the most unique aspects of the game revolves around enhancing Kena’s abilities with the help of her Rot companions. Building a bond with the Rot leads to a deeper, more organic combat and a nuanced skill evolution.

My GFN Thursday Highlight - Dual Universe Beta

This is a first person space based sandbox simulation MMORPG. It seems to combine elements of Eve Online, Minecraft and Space Engineers.

The game is set in a continuous single-shard universe, wherein players are able to fully edit the environment by building structures and altering terrain, as well as being given the ability to script the components within vehicles and other player-built objects. A heavy focus is also placed on allowing for collective social gameplay involving exploration, mining, crafting, trade, politics and warfare.

Here is the line-up of games coming to GeForce NOW this week:

Games Leaving and Under Maintenance Updates

Due to a technical issue that prevents progress in the game, OneShot will be leaving the GeForce NOW library on July 30. You can still stream the game until then and if you have the means you can continue your progress on PC or Mac.

Crusader Kings III & Stellaris are still under maintenance but you will be happy to know that I can report GeForce NOW are actively working with Paradox to resolve the ongoing technical issues. Hopefully it won't be too much longer until they are back on-board.
